Jewish Learning Fellowship @GWHillel
The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) at GW is a 9-week experiential, conversational seminar for students looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms. We may not have the answers, but we’ll create space to ask the big questions of our lives through a Jewish lens – from Who am I? & What communities am I a part of?, to topics of friendship, love vs. lust, and more.
Participation in JLF includes:
-Weekly Wednesday meetings in Spring 2018 (6 pm-7:30pm, starting Wednesday 2/7 and ending in April)
-Connecting with Rabbi Dan Epstein & a peer on campus through 1:1 coffee dates.
-Building community with other GW students seeking to ask these questions through shared meals, a shared Shabbat experience, and meaningful dialogue throughout our time together.
JLF applicants are thirsty to learn but require no previous Jewish background. Participants who attend all sessions, including one Shabbat experience, are eligible to receive a $300 stipend. APPLY TODAY. Any questions, email Rabbi Dan at email@example.com.
